Transformers II: 10 Questions Michael Bay Must Answer!
Ini entri ke-4 aku tentang Transformers II yang pastinya membuat pengunjung blog ini merasakan aku ni tak ada entri lain ke nak diposkan, ye tak? Namun tanggapan sebegitu adalah silap kerana aku akan membuat entri selain Transformers hanya selepas demam Transformers ini hilang daripada kepala aku… Sabar ye kawan²… Entri lain akan menyusul insyaAllah selepas entri ini…
Menurut tajuk kali ini, aku hendak bertanyakan 10 soalan tentang Transformers II yang aku jumpai sewaktu melayari internet kepada Michael Bay, pengarah filem ini… Persoalannya amat menarik untuk anda baca… Aku hanya copy dan paste sahaja di sini okey… Anda juga boleh jawabkan untuk pengarah filem ni taw…

1. In “Transformers”, there was this giant battle in the middle of downtown Los Angeles — excuse me, Mission City — that was witnessed by thousands of people at the very least. But somehow the government was able to cover up the whole thing, and now the existence of alien robots is just an internet rumor? How did they do it? Pay off everyone who was there and quickly fix millions of dollars in damage? Also, didn’t Keller (Jon Voight) go on TV and tell everyone we were being attacked by “a technological civilization far superior to our own”? How did they spin that?
2. There are two pieces of the Allspark cube left: the military has one under lock and key, and Sam discovers another. The Decepticons steal one and bring Megatron back to life. But when Sam (Shia LaBeouf) wants to bring back Optimus, he has to find the Matrix of Leadership on the other side of the globe. Why not use the other piece? Mikaela (Megan Fox) has it in her backpack the whole time. It brought his kitchen appliances to life, why can’t it do the same for Optimus?
3. Speaking of Megatron’s rebirth, when the Decepticons venture deep into the ocean to revive him, the Navy crew tracking them reads five contacts. When they get down there, they tear apart one of the robots for parts to rebuild Megatron. Then as they rise to the surface, the same Navy guys say they spot six contacts. The little “Doctor” robot popped out down there, but he’s about a third of the size of a person. Would he have shown up on sonar?
4. That reminds me: even if I were to forgive the Doctor’s German accent — and director Michael Bay is asking me to forgive a lot of ridiculous accents — why would a robot need glasses? He has little lenses that flip in front of his mechanical eyes. Couldn’t he just get his eyes adjusted? You’d think with all the laser guns, someone could perform a Lasik procedure.
5. Apparently, Transformers can look like people now. How? And how is it that even though the robo-girl (Isabel Lucas) is made of metal, she can still straddle Sam without crushing him. And if Bumblebee knows something’s wrong with her, why does he spit antifreeze at her instead of telling Sam? Yes, his voicebox is broken, but wasn’t it fixed at the end of the last movie?
6. The Fallen is the last of the Primes, since they all sacrificed themselves to stop him from destroying the sun. But then he says that Optimus is a descendant of the Primes. First, Transformers have kids? And second, how could he descend from them if they were all dead? And if the Fallen could only be destroyed by a Prime, why didn’t the originals just gang up on him back in the day? And what makes Optimus so special, anyway? Megatron beat him earlier, but all it takes is a few spare parts from creaky old Jetfire for him to take out the Fallen?
7. Sam, Mikaela, and Simmons (John Turturro) go to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. to find Jetfire. Then they walk out the back onto a wide open field with old planes and mountains in the distance. When did the National Mall start to look so much like to Tucson, AZ (where they really filmed that scene)?
8. The geography is just as bad when they go to Egypt. The stone city of Petra in Jordan is over 250 miles away, over mountainous terrain, with few paved roads and the Israeli border between them, so how can they drive from one to the other in a couple of hours. And the Pyramids are said to be shooting distance from the Mediterranean, but they are actually well over 80 miles inland. Even if the Navy ship had a secret rail gun, and even if the captain would take an order to fire from a former agent of a government branch that no longer exists (over a walkie-talkie that inexplicably starts working again), how could it hit a moving target from that distance?
9. Sam briefly dies and goes to Robot Heaven. Robot Heaven?
10. Where does Sam’s bandage come from? What about his extra sock? Why does Sam’s roommate not contribute anything at all? What was the Fallen doing for those thousands of years Megatron was frozen in ice? How does one satellite receive transmissions from everywhere on the planet? Why does Wheelie hump Mikaela’s leg? Why do we have to see John Turturro’s thong? Why are robots who join together to become Devastator also seen fighting the Army at the same time? Why does the government want only our military fighting Decepticons when our weapons seem unable to make so much as a dent on any of them? Why did the ancient Egyptians build a pyramid around the sun-destroying machines instead of just breaking it? Why is the Matrix of Leadership bigger in the Fallen’s hand than in Sam’s? And how do Mikaela’s pants stay so clean?

pada aku ia hanya sebuah filem aksi CGI dreamworks studio yg lebih menumpukan pada aksi janaan dan letop2.modal yg paling mudah ialah menggunakan robot2 CGI.so bila dah robot mcm ni agk susah nak digambarkan apa logik realiti storylinenya.Jadi jika nak fikirkan soalan2 diatas michael bay pun pening nak jawab.paling kuat dia cakap filem ni dah box office satu dunia dan dia dah menjadi kaya raya dan tak berapa nak kisah detail ke tak elemen2 cerita dlm filem ni.

wow is this your interpretation after watching this movie once?Pretty impressive. i couldn’t get a half of it.i need to it watch once more.
can i answer ur question?though it’s juz my jokingly opinion though…
1. Mayb the ppl of LA(sorry, mission city) did speculate. but that’s it. like roswell incident. ppl talk bout it till now, but there’s juz not enough evidents. well, “superior technological civilization” may be interpreted as Iran or North Korea cuz americans r stupid.ok bad joke..
2. cuz optimus is a prime, and megatron is juz, megatron. like the mv said, “only a prime can defeat the fallen” so it needs more than a mere allsparks to revive him. I think…
3. mayb the radar can detect small things too, since the US technology is very advanced. (they have an advanced cannon that can destroyed devastator, so advanced radar?idk..)
4. Apparently, Michael Bay likes humor, so maybe it’s juz for a humor purpose?hehe
5. The more weird question is, “i thought the robots can only took machine appearance, not organic things” Maybe Isabel made of light metal(aluminum?) maybe bumblebee wasnt properly fixed?i only heard him talking few sentence in previous movie. even im not sure if it’s his real voice.
6. kids?imagine how they do sex!euww..ok.let’s say dat they have kids.mayb the have kids b4 they died.see transformers G1. the reason the primes cant beat the fallen because “he was just too strong for us” they said this in the mv, if im not mistaken. Megatron beat optimus earlier wif the help from others.common…3 vs 1?he’s not some God.

8. wow did u make a research on this?im speechless…well about that navy thing, i told u before dat US technology is very advanced. plus, shooting at devastator which is big and moves like in a radius of 2-3 inches, how hard it is to hit the target?so beware of US!

Apakah kesilapan sebenar filem ni?
Apa yang menyebabkan bila aku habis tengok cerita ni,aku mula membandingkan Tranformers ROTF dengan Transformers The Movie (bukan filem Transformers yang first tu?)
Entahlah,aku agak kecewa.Sangat2 kecewa sebenarnya.
Apa yang aku suka?
1. Optimus Prime + Jetfire
Membuatkan aku kembali nostalgia bila teringat balik Optimus Prime zaman Tranformers Super God Masterforce bila Optimus Prime (Ginrai) bercantum dengan trak lain untuk jadi God Bomber.Siap ada kepak2 dan booster kat belakang.
2. Scene gaduh dalam hutan
Optimus Prime belasah Decepticon solo
err…itu aje.Oh!
3. Slow motion camera shot Megan Fox berlari
Terlalu banyak shot2 slow motion yang memang sengaja difokuskan dekat dada.
Yang aku tak suka?Banyak!
1. Jalan cerita bodoh dan terlalu banyak loophole
2.Apa kejadah Optimus Prime pakai 2 PEDANG?
3.Apa kejadah Bumblebee kuat?
4.Apsal The Fallen tu tak menakutkan pun ?
5.Kenapa Optimus Prime terlalu handal pulak ni?Adakah sebab dia berlatih dengan tentera2 US sebab tu dia jadi kuat gila babi?
6.Kalau makhluk asing nak tawan bumi,jangan risau,tentera US boleh lawan dan besar kemungkinan menang lawan diorang.
7.Aku tak nak tengok kapal,jet pejuang,helikopter….AKU NAK TENGOK ROBOT!
8.Sejak bila Megatron ikut perintah orang lain?Megatron TAKKAN MENGAKU ADA ORANG LAGI SUPERIOR WALAUPUN DIA TAU ORANG TU LAGI KUAT DARIPADA DIA.Dengan Unikron pun dia melawan!Apa kejadahnya dengan Pondan (The Fallen) pun dia melutut?
9.Kenapa aku rasa Megan Fox ni tak cun dan macam lelaki?Muka ala-ala pelakon porno yang mempunyai body yang sedap.
10.Mak bapak Sam tu,kenapa takde Decepticon yang bunuh aje diorang?
11.Apa point buat filem Transformers tapi fokus dia dekat manusia?Tranformers kartun pun fokus dia dekat ROBOT!
12.Jar Jar Binks = Kembar Mudflaps dan Skids
13. Kenapa Sam dengan Mikaela nak kena berlari? Kenapa tak naik aje Bumblebee?Adakah sebab kalau naik kereta scene tu jadi cepat dan tak dapat dilakukan aksi2 berlari slow motion Megan Fox?
14.Scene Optimus Prime mati yang takde meninggalkan kesan langsung dekat aku.Menangis la jugak aku bila Optimus Prime mati dalam TF-The Movie tapi dalam ni…seolah2 takde kesan pun.Sam dengan Mikaela tu pun rilek aje.
Argh!
Sangat2 mengecewakan.Bila hype untuk melihat Tranformers hidup dekat layar perak dah jadi impian dalam filem pertama,masuk filem kedua hilang semua magic,hilang semua imaginasi.Yang tinggal hanyalah sebuah filem ringan yang mempunyai plot yang bodoh dan letupan2 yang menjadi propaganda Autobots terpaksa bergantung dengan Amerika untuk menentang Decepticon.
Positif -
1. Optimus Prime campur Jetfire
2. Scene gaduh dekat hutan
3. Dada Megan Fox
jadi ….
